INGREDIENTS :
In a hot toddy glass or comparable cup, combine tequila, lemon, and simple syrup. Add hot water and stir to combine. Top with a lemon wheel. Cin cin!
We have posted this in our other posts about why we think tequila reposado or anejo is a good sub for bourbon or whiskey. We will keep it shorter here. Reposado or Anejo tequila works well in cocktails, and in this tequila pumpkin hot toddy, as its aging process gives it a mellow, oaky taste, which is very similar to a smooth bourbon.
The pumpkin simple syrup is a key component of this pumpkin hot toddy! Its simple to make too!
